Hello and thank you for stopping by! I’m Richard and I’ve been working as a photographer for the last four years to supplement my job as a high school history and media teacher. This year, I’ve decided to pursue photography full-time in order to focus on developing my craft. I enjoy the challenge of creating images that reveal the moment and I’m looking forward to working with you!

Here are some fun(?) facts about me:

• I watch too many movies and they probably have more influence on my photography than anything else.

• I like museums and art history in general—paintings are probably my second greatest influence.

• I’m more of a dog person, but I have a cat.

• I’m from LA and had never set foot in Oregon before moving here.
